13 DAYS THE JUNGLE BOOK SAFARI

The Jungle Book - 13 days of mind-blowing safari in search for Baghira and Shirhan, the mythical characters of Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”.

Your journey takes place in Kanha, Bandhavgarh and Pench National Parks that are located in Central India and are believed to be the source of inspiration for Kipling’s book.

These parks are characterized by a variety of well-preserved habitats that support healthy populations of wildlife, which feature in the magical plot Kipling’s work.

Recommended time to travel: November-June.

Wildlife that can be seen: tigers, leopards, spotted deer, Malayan sun bears, Asian wild dogs, elephants.

Delhi

You will be picked up at the airport on your arrival and be taken to your Hotel where you will spend the night before your tour begins on the following day. Overnight at your desired hotel

Delhi-Jabalpur-Bandhavgarh National Park

Today you will fly from Delhi to Jabalpur/ Once there, you will be picked up by our representative for a relatively short drive to Bandhavgarh Nature Park. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park was originally a hunting area for the Maharaja and his people. The habitat in the park consists of rocky, mountainous areas, swamps and deciduous forests. The park is considered one of the best in India, and home to a healthy population of tigers. While here, you will perform morning and evening game drives throughout the park. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Bandhavgarh-Kanha

After breakfast, head to Kanha National Park. Kanha National Park has been part of the Tiger Conservation Project since 1974. As such, it enjoys maximum protection, resulting in healthy populations of wildlife and tigers. The park is studded with rivers, forests and bamboo forests, thus, safari in this park is both magical and fascinating experience. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Kanha National Park

While here, you will perform morning and evening game drives throughout the park. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Kanha-Pench

After breakfast, the driver will meet you and take you to Pench National Park. In Pench National Park, is where the author Rudyard Kipling sat and admired the India wildlife. The park is basically a continuation of the Kanha National Park, and in the future a single unified national park may be declared to allow the safe movement of wildlife from one park to the other. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge.

Pench-Nagpur-Delhi

After an early morning game drive, followed by a healthy breakfast, you will be transferred to Nagpur, where your flight to Delhi departs from. On your arrival you will be taken to your Hotel where you will spend the night
