Tarangire National Park (about 2.5 hours drive)

You Safari experience begins at the Tarangire National Park. The park is located in northern Tanzania, about 118 km southwest of Arusha. The park, which covers about 3,000 square kilometers, is famous mainly for its large elephant population, the great variety of bird species found in its many areas and the authenticity of the safari route. The vast area of this park (by comparison, this park is about ten times the size of the nearby Lake Manyara National Park) holds a great opportunity to see a huge variety of rarer and less rare animals, which in other reserves are unlikely to be seen. The best time to visit this reserve is between July and October, and even during peak months, this park is relatively uncrowded with visitors. Dinner and Overnight near the park.

To the northwest of the reserve is Serengeti National Park. The southeastern borders of the reserve are defined by the Syrian-African Rift. About 2.5 million years ago, Ngorongoro Reserve was a huge volcanic mountain. So high was this mountain that researchers speculate that it was even higher than Mount Kilimanjaro. The crater was formed as a result of the collapse of the volcanic mountain inland. The safari in the Ngorongoro Crater is rich and fascinating. Herds of elephants, zebras, Thompson deer, Grant deer, toffee deer and more can be observed. As for predators, lions, and an increasing number of cheetahs and hyenas can be seen. The reserve is home to a number of critically endangered black rhinos. Dinner and Overnight as yesterday.

Lake Manyara National Park

However, the park, offers an impressive safari experience. The vegetation growing there is varied, and you can easily find both vegetation identified with the savannah and swamps and dense forests. The park includes about 11 different habitats in total of which you will most likely see floodplains, rocky escarpments and a wooded area where acacia trees grow. The existence of all these habitats together makes this park one of the densest in the world in terms of biomass. The park is best known for its population of tree-climbing lions.
